Die Stuttgarter Band Schubkarre veröffentlicht ihr Debütalbum „Sand im Getreide“ am 21. März 2025. Das Album erscheint in Eigenregie und ist auf allen gängigen Streaming-Plattformen wie Spotify, Deezer und Apple Music verfügbar. Zusätzlich wird eine auf 100 Stück limitierte Vinyl-Edition veröffentlicht.

Schubkarre haben ihr Debütalbum DIY aufgenommen und produziert, das Mastering übernahm Abel2Rock – Audio Engineering. Die Aufnahmen entstanden live im Proberaum auf dem Aussiedlerhof von Sänger Frank Strebel.
Zur Feier der Veröffentlichung spielt die Band am Samstag, 22. März 2025 eine Release-Show im Café Provinz in Marbach am Neckar, unterstützt von den Marbacher Bands Die Siffer und Ukunalle.
Sänger und Bassist Frank Strebel zu den Aufnahmen: „Bei den Aufnahmen zu Sand im Getreide ging es uns darum, unsere Musik ungeschönt und direkt einzufangen. Wir haben die Songs so aufgenommen, wie wir sie auch live spielen. Das Album ist dreckig, laut und hat Ecken und Kanten – genau so, wie wir es haben wollten. Das Artwork stammt von Arni, einem befreundeten Künstler, der unsere Musik perfekt auf dem Cover eingefangen hat.“
Schubkarre, gegründet 2023 in Marbach am Neckar bei Stuttgart, besteht aus vier Mitgliedern und spielt eine Mischung aus Doom, Sludge, Rock und Punk, irgendwo zwischen Fudge Tunnel, Mantar nach einem schlechten Tag und NoMeansNo auf Metal.

The Stuttgart-based band Schubkarre will release their debut album “Sand im Getreide” (“Grit in the Grain”) on March 21, 2025. The album will be self-released and available on all major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Music. Additionally, a limited vinyl edition of 100 copies will be released.

Schubkarre recorded and produced their debut album independently, with mastering handled by Abel2Rock – Audio Engineering. The recordings were made live in the rehearsal room at lead singer Frank Strebel’s farm.
To celebrate the release, the band will play a release show on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Café Provinz in Marbach am Neckar, supported by local bands Die Siffer and Ukunalle.
Lead singer and bassist Frank Strebel on the recordings: “For the recordings of ‘Sand im Getreide’, we wanted to capture our music unadulterated and direct. We recorded the songs as we play them live. The album is dirty, loud, and has rough edges – exactly how we wanted it. The artwork was created by Arni, a friend and artist who perfectly captured our music on the cover.”
Schubkarre, founded in 2023 in Marbach am Neckar near Stuttgart, consists of four members and plays a mix of doom, sludge, rock, and punk, somewhere between Fudge Tunnel, Mantar on a bad day, and NoMeansNo on metal.
